How to prune climbing roses to create more blooms. In this video, I will show you how the pruning and training of climbing roses can stimulate new growth and increase their flower production, giving you healthy plants and months of gorgeous roses.

I’m Annette and these David Austin James Galway roses are growing on the north facing wall of our property here in UK.

We live in South Buckinghamshire in the beautiful Chilterns. Our Zone is equivalent to US zone 8. We average about 707mm (27.8”) of annual rainfall and have heavy clay soil.

We pruned these roses in March and this update was filmed about 10 weeks later in May.

Here is a link to the video (FFWD to 7.00 mins): https://youtu.be/JLUJd7HetcQ

And a previous update filmed 7 weeks after pruning: https://youtu.be/23eCAKgf1p4

I will soon post a video of these roses in flower. Subscribe to my channel to see future updates.
