In this episode Lyell will introduce you to what he calls a "Tasmanian Devil" scuba diver. A diver with very poor form, that significantly affects his efficiency as he dives. Not only does it not look good, but that diver will spend much less time underwater compared to divers who utilize the "5 Basic Principles of Scuba Diving" to their fullest. Scuba divers who use these principles will make for excellent divers, with great efficiency and spend much more time doing what they love. This is the beginning of new series of videos where we will look in depth at each of these principles of scuba diving, and apply them in a “real world” fashion on how we utilize them during an entire dive, from the descent, to the bottom portion of the dive, during your ascent and safety stop, until you safely reach the surface at the end of your dive!
