Pros
- 335mm wingspan flying wing airplane.
- Constructed of EPP crash resistant foam.
- Weighs only 40 grams with battery installed. This airplane should not require registration in most countries.
- Gyro stabilized.
- Comes installed with LED light strips (standard for the TY8, but must select this option for the LSRC B2).
- Available in camouflage (TY8), or jet black (LSRC B2).
- 300mah battery provides about 8 minutes of flight time.

Cons
- Flying wings are inherently unstable, this one not being an exception. The gyro stabilization system helps stability if there is no wind. But this plane can be very erratic when flown outdoors in any wind.
- Somewhat tail heavy out of the box, causing high pitch, slow speed flight with stalls. It may benefit to add some small weight to the nose of the aircraft.

This is a 60" (1.5m) foam built Timber. I was inspired to recreate the Timber from foam in a large scale. This plane flies so well, its so stable and handled huge gusts and lots of wind on its maiden. The UMX Timber is the best beginner plane, and is a plane I have had for years - it's my go-to. Now, this large foam Timber is my go-to and I would say its as reliable and would be awesome for a beginner as well!! Strong Santa Ana conditions on Jan 19 2021 provided enough wind for Spencer Lisenby to bring the dynamic soaring speed record back to its birthplace of Parker Mountain, CA. Wind gusted to 65mph and temps were 45-50F. This flight beat the previous record set in 2018 at Bird Spring Pass by only 3mph. Filmed with a Gopro on my head while flying. Best viewed on a large screen with high resolution. Max acceleration estimated around 90-100G.
